Gold Creek Reservoir
The reservoir and surrounding catchment area lie on the southern edge of D'Aguilar National Park.
There are a range of habitats from open water to Eucalypt forest, pockets of rainforest and riparian habitats associated with the permanently wet creeks.
This CD comprises a set of recordings made on two seperate days. They start by capturing sounds of the forest at night and then as dawn approaches there is a changing of the guard as the nocturnal species go to roost and the diurnal species wake to greet a new dawn .
The recordings were made above and below the Dam.
