Barking Dogs-Noise Nuisance Diary

Noise Nuisance Diary

Noise Nuisance Diary

The reporting tool allows you to generate noise nuisance diaries for a selected dog for single or multiple dates. Select the dates that you want to include in the reports. If a date contains detections that have not been reviewed then they will not be selected. Reviewing the detections allows you to check that there are no false positive detections in the list.

False Positives are sounds that have been incorrectly identified as the dog being monitored.

Dates that show as all red are dates that have not been reviewed.

A red microphone indicates that the barking level is above the limits set by the noise level rules.

Individual bar charts for each date can be viewed.

To listen to individual tracks tap on each of the tracks in turn. If a false positive is heard select the checkbox for that track. Once you have reviewed all the tracks for that date you can then select delete and delete all the false positives in one go.

A red speaker indicates that a track has not been reviewed, C allows you to add a comment for a particular time.

Generating Noise Nuisance Diaries

You can generate the diaries in two ways. To generate a report and view it immediately select the Report button. To Email a report select Email from the menu. You can choose to generate an email report with the Noise Nuisance Diary and/or Summary Report and include or not include all the sound tracks for the diary period.

Summary Report

The summary report gives the number of barks within each hour of the day. Items highlighted in red have exceeded the noise limit.

The report also gives the disturbance percentage which is the percentage of hours in the day that the dog was barking.
